So now i have $400 Dollars and I will had $200 more from my pocket.

So the problem is I have no idea what to get so i figure I will ask you all.

What can a man get for $600 dollars????????

This is what I have>

Remington 700 30-06
Tikka lite .243
Remington 597 .22
Remington 870 super mag 12 gauge
Beretta A391 xtrema 2 12gauge
Steven's single shot 16 gauge
Glock 21sf
MY wife as A Glock 17

You are missing a good midsized revolver in your collection. Look at jgsales.com or summitgunbroker.com and you can find some pretty decent used 38/357 revolvers. And they should all be less than $600.

I use the 454 for bear back up but it had a 6 in barrel to long to draw on the run. So i think i might replace it with a 44mag with a 4 in barrel but i don't know if i need too. Or some thing a long that line. But i don't bear hunt as much any more i did a couple of year in a row. So i got the .454 for that because i bow hunted for bear.

Well, if you want a big bore snubby, there's the Ruger Alaskan or S&W 629 3". I have the latter, it carries pretty nice. For a lightweight 4", the S&W 629 mountain gun is nice. And there are the alloy 329 models, if you like punishment.

Definitely agree with the Howdah Pistol. There are many good reasons for getting one of those.

In all seriousness, before buying a new gun, instead of thinking "I have X dollars to spend, I should buy something in that price range", try to figure out what application you want to have a gun for, and let that guide your purchase. If you think you've covered all your bases, it's time to move out and buy other stuff, like ammunition, a reloading press, or steel targets.
