I have owned several Kahrs, two CW9s, P9, a PM40 and a PM9.
What I liked: They have the smoothest stock double action trigger you can get, excellent reliability(except for the PMs), ease of use and very accurate for small guns.
What I didn't like: The P and PM models were and are over priced, polymer frame rails get "ragged" with use, polymer frame feels cheap, Kahr mags are poorly designed(especially the 9mm)
The two PMs were used and I had know idea of their history, but the two were about the most problematic guns I've ever owned. On the other hand the CWs and P were flawless operators. I spent close to $800 out the door for the P9 (black w/ NS). I could not tell the difference between it and the CW9 while shooting...The CW9 cost me $450 out the door, so imo it is a great value and worth the cost if you are looking for a compact/thin carry gun. If you want it for range use or HD, it might be somewhat hamstrung by its small size and limited mag capacity.
