need scope for Stevens Model 66C

This 75 year old rifle has a side mount. it currrently has a $30 bushnell 4x rimfire scope from Walmart. this rifle has bolt throw clearance issues and turret clearance issues with the side mount. the physical size of the bushnell scope works well. The problem is i need a more durable scope approximately the same size. this model scope does not seem to hold a good solid zero very long.
Can some one suggest a scope or scopes that could possible work?
many scopes have a larger rear objective that will not allow the bolt to work correctly.
