Okay, I have a Marlin 336 that was made in 1964. It appears to be the standard rifle/ (or Carbine) that they sold, and has the pistol grip stock...
Anyway, the receiver is drilled and tapped on the side and along the top for scope or aperture sights. I am adding a Williams Foolproof sight with target knobs (I want the easy adjustability for target shooting) and a front sight. I want to go with a fiber optic front sight, but I don't know which sight fits the front and is of the right size, as I understand that Marlin changed the front sight in the later years at some point.
Can Nemocyst or others who are knowledgable about this issue help me?
