Need some recomendations on a new gun

Can anyone tell me of some guns that have short DAO/DA trigger pulls? I really like triggers like glock and M&P and want to stick with that feel. I already have a pps glock and M&P, and I have looked into SIG and Kahr but I hate that long pull, also I hear that the HK LEM trigger is like that also? Anyway I am in the market for a new gun and just cant find a trigger I like.

I am considering a 1911 because I like the short crisp trigger, but I would like to stick to a DA

Are you looking in Striker fire or DAO, SAO, DA/SA? The example you give us are all Striker fire. Amount striker fire type guns I had shot/own, I would rank them as Walther P99 and XD were great, Steyr M-A1 and Glock were good, Sig pro was decent, and M&P was ok, Sigma (VE) and SR9 were barely acceptable. But this rank only in the short and crispness. Someone might "want" their gun to have longer or harder trigger pull.

If the short trigger pull is what you desire, look into pistols that's SAO.

Para-Ordnance pistols with the LDA action have a DAO trigger that is longer than a M&P or Glock but shorter than a Kahr. I have no personal experience with their recent pistols, however.

An M&P with a Burwell trigger job is about as good as it gets IMO.

yeah ckone my M&P is my favorite as far as ergos and trigger feel, but the compact is to small, and the fullsize is to big
