Nice SAA C&L.

That's on my 'cannot afford' list at the moment. I've never been that impressed by the Italian clones, though Beretta's Stampede had a blue finish that was electric that made me think it over. They are very handsome -- I don't know how that finish holds up though.

The price of a USFA is high enough to justify buying a real Colt.

When I went looking for an SA revolver I bought Ruger, mainly because my dad had a Blackhawk he carried while hunting for years. On the other hand, if Colt had made a .44 mag model SA I would have bought one.
