Ive been wanting a semi auto 22 for a while. I was planning on getting a ruger mark IV but came across a used Buckmark Hunter this morning at the lgs in great condition with soft case and all the paperwork for it $370. Decided it was coming home with me.
My only other .22 handgun is a heritage rough rider I got on clearance a few years back, after a few months on the trapline with me last winter it doesn’t have much finish left on the frame or grip but it did a fine job, and dispatched over 40 predators last season.
I shot the buckmark when I got it home. I was very impressed with the trigger on it. Especially compared to the stock trigger that comes on a ruger mark iv.
I ran about 150rnds through it with a few different brands without a single hiccup. I’m way more of a revolver shooter so I was happy with the groups I was able to shoot. Looks like I may need to adjust my sight
10rnds at 50yds with cci standard, standing unsupported.
And this is mini mags at 15yds
It’s a fun gun to shoot, wish I had gotten one earlier.
