new bushmaster price

I searched (not hard) and didn't find this. I don't know a whole lot about the platform so bear with me. What is a good price on a new bushmaster these days.

There were a couple at a recent gunshow, flash suppressor, colapsible stock, and the handle with peep sights. One was about $850 and another $950. I don't know what the difference in the two were, but both were bushmaster upper and lower, new never fired.

$950 is way too high. Depending on the model, $850 is decent, but high.

Every gun show I've ever been to had overpriced merchandise, and crappy old guys trying to buy a gun from you that's worth at least 50% more than they are asking for.

I don't know if you went to the Bushmaster website to check on their suggested prices, but this is it. Consider it a starting point only, not the final word on a good street price. And by street I mean your local FFL, NOT some guy's car trunk in the alley!

I paid $950 and $980 for my two NIB Bushmasters. You can get them cheaper from someone like AIM, but I like to support the local shop as much as possible. Even though >900 is a tad on the high side, it is still less than website MSRP.

I'm finding out the hard way that not every company's products can be obtained for much under msrp.
