Been wanting one of the 13oz revolvers to replace my old 20 oz'er and finally gave up on one titanium tuarus's or there new magnesium model after 4 months and bought a charterarms aluminum ultralite 38. Wieghts 12.8oz and cost 339 out the door.Took it home and cleaned it up, read the manual and cut about 3/16 off the mainspring to light'n the hammer/trigger pull. It has a good wall on the trigger pull to let you know it's about to fire . Have the pull at 6 1/2 lbs now and will leave there. Shooting both guns back to back the charter is easier on your hand even though it is 7oz lighter. Grip has more angle than ether a s&w or taurus ,that maybe why it shoots so well. Put 150 rounds through it last evening and pleaed with it. For a gun that does not have the finish of the big boys guns it does have a lockup and cylinder gap set more like my Dan Wessons than anything comeing out of s&w or taurus. Cylinder gap is 1 to 2 thousanths if no movement in the lockup at time of fire. Overall i am happy with it. Good carry gun.
