If you like first person shooters. GET Call of Duty. It got released this week I think...maybe last week. Oh man thats a great game. If you like Medal of Honor but want a little more realizim then Call of Duty is it.
Just playing a few mins ago. I throw down the m14 and pick me up a M1Garand. While that folding stock is cool....I want the ping . I love how you can pick up any battlefield find. You want to shoot the germans guns...grab them. Throw your Thompson down for a mp40. You name it, its in the game. Second mission you start out with a BAR to lay down some heavy fire. Your trusty 1911 is there as well. Its not as accuate as Id like, but then again its last ditch, close quaters gun.
AI is great, your squad actualy helps you, not just gets in the way. Sounds....well I cant comment on the BAR as Ive never heard one, but the Garand is spot on. 1911...typical sound. One stiff hit from your M1....takes down the bad guy, or atleast doubles him over for the follow up shot. Of course you can take many hits....any game that is one shot death isnt fun. But man....it keeps ya playing. Definatly worth it for gun nuts and WWII history buffs.
