I purchased a new CZ 452 Lux this week and was deciding if I wanted to shot it or save it for a un shot CZ sale in a few years. Wife told me, U have it, U just as well shot it biggrin.gif Got love my wife. She also told me "FOUR CZ"s IS A COMPLETE FAMILY"" eek.gif eek.gif
I had a DIP rail, Med Burris Signature Ezz rings and a Weaver 3x12x50 EBX scope setting on the shelf, so I put it together last night and took it out in the fog/drizzle/rain this morning and some 5 cent Norma TAC-22 that I picked up a month ago on sale. I will get some good pics when the sun comes out next time in the field. Here is a few and one target that I managed to get in before the rain. I need to do some trigger work, it pulls at 3lbs + so that took some getting use to after shooting my other CZ at one pound or less. I will work on that this week but, so far it seems to shoot real good. I'm happy biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I thinking to keep this one at 25 yards and the 452 Ultra Lux and the 455 FS at 50yards. My 452 American is set up for 100 yards. I like playing those monthly challenges where u print targets on 8 12 x 11" paper and shoot away for a month then post the best u have. I'm sure it will go 50 and if I go 100 I will have to re scope for my old eyes :)

I have exactly the same rifle, they are absolute gems :) Affordable, great accuracy and quality. It shoots everything I've fed I've fed it. The only comment to make is the comb feels quite low when you scope mount it, so just slap on one of those velcro padded cheek risers to make your cheek weld more comfortable and you're good to go.

Congrats on the new rifle. I can't say enough good things about CZ rimfires. When I got my first 452 lux in 22LR I grabbed the only adjustable objective scope I had laying around that wasn't mounted on something, a low power 2-7x, bore sighted it, grabbed the only target ammo I had and headed for the local rimfire BR matches. I finished the sight-in on the warm up targets and shot a 249/250 with 16X the first time I ever shot it. I think that was pretty good performance for a sporter weight rifle right out of the box....

Its been windy or raining since I got this rifle and cant wait to get back to my valley in the hills and shot this rifle. I might take some SK with me to see if it is a nail driver :)

Im on a phone so screen is tiny; on the BR target, is that one shot per bull @ 25 yds. or a 3 or 5 shot group in each bull?

The CZ is such a nice gun, congrats on a great shooter . One of my (several) “I don’t need but I sure want list” guns is a full-stocked CZ in .22 Lr.

Stay safe !

I have a CZ455 Varmint and (4) other 22lr rifles.
Wife has (2) 22lr rifles,,,
We'll take 3-4 at a time out to the Range...
Upon arrival, I'll always ask her which one she wants to shoot,,,,,,,
Lets just say, if I ever want to shoot my CZ again, I'd better quit asking her !!!! :cuss:

Nice, thanks.

I shot my Remington 581 .22 Lr and brand-new Ruger American .22 wmr today on similar 25 yd targets, but I shot 5-shot groups on them. I’ll post my experience later when I’m back home.

Again, that’s one beautiful CZ!!!

I don't have a 452 but I have a 455. I was at the range today busting clays at 100 yards almost every shot. Rifle is sighted in for 50 yards so the hold over is considerable.

Now for the good part. With a mil dot scope it's easy to hit an 18" gong at 200 yards. The hold over looks to be about 6' but the rifle is accurate enough if you get that part right. No wind today so no windage adjustment. My hearing isn't so good so sometimes I get a fellow shooter to call the strikes. That's a lot of fun right there.:D

SKgreen Time to buy her one or two :)
I hear ya! I've asked her several times if she'd like a CZ of her own,,, Can't get her to make any indication of which one's she might like,,,
More than happy to shoot mine though!!!
Not too worried,,, Pretty sure she won't wear it out!!! :)

I have the American, Ultra Lux, FS and the Lux all of them are great! Walnut is hard to pass up!!
