Hi guys,
I took my new CZ-452 Special (purchased for $240 two weeks ago) out to the range last week and ran 30 rounds each of CCI Standard Velocity, CCI Blazer and Federal "Value Pack" through it from a rest at 25 yards. What a blast! The only problem I had was a single Blazer dud that required a firm recyling of the bolt to extract.
The sights were pretty much right on from the factory. They are Mauser style adjustable ramp sights that seem very well made. I was happy that the 2nd 10-round string printed at 3/4" (9/16" if you throw away a single flyer) with iron sights and my poor marksmanship skills. I'll also shamefully admit to making the targets in PowerPoint - I think some of the vertical spread can be attributed to the stupid red circle that served no other purpose than to blur my sight picture. Next time, I'll stick to 2" black boxes.
The trigger was really quite good out of the box. A wee bit of creep, then a nice, clean break. It felt a bit heavy - I'm guessing 4-5 pounds, but I don't have a gauge.
Here are a couple of pictures of the rifle and a shot of the first three 10-round strings (CCI Standard Velocity) out of the rifle while still on the backstop:

Now, that's not much of a range exercise, but I also put 140 rounds through my Ruger Mark II. The pistol had serious FTE problems and I just got it back from Ruger. Happily, it ran like a top with everything except the CCI Standard Velocity, which probably wasn't cyling the action with enough umph! All in all, a fun "long" lunch at the range.
I'm absolutely tickled with the CZ - seems like a lot of rifle for the money (and I probably paid about $15 or $20 too much, but I hate buying stuff from Wally World).
