New CZ dropped.

CZ just released a new handgun, was supposed to drop back in June.

Didn't see this one coming, I was guessing a new Checkmate based off the TS2 frame. Or a Shadow 3 with a bull barrel due to CZ's top competitor shooter, Eric G shot tanfaglios for many years and talked about the benefits of a big fat bull barrel

Pretty underwhelmed. I haven’t owned a metal CZ for quite a while, only a P-10 now, they haven’t offered anything too innovative for quite a while.

Am not sure how I think about this.
I like CZs, am a fan boy.
I like alloy framed carry guns.
I prefer optic ready guns now.
The lack of no fpb on this is my concern.

But, am guessing 100% sure, this gun is made for European competition markets, that differ in class compared to the USA.
CZ markets this here as a race ready carry piece.

Very Very early adaptor of S2 with optic cut and slide light from CGW. Even the SRO is # under 100

Glade they are doing the compact with Optic Cut! Will look good with the New RMR!

At first I thought you dropped a new pistol. i saw that they introduced something not quite what I considered new. Left me head scratching. I do like my CZ75. It just works so well.

I had a Rossi .38 2” from the 1990’s. It would seize up when the cylinder heated up after about 10-15 shots because the cylinder face wasn’t square.

A teeny tiny sample of one, but it would lead me to look over any Rossi from that era very closely before buying.

It seems that if you mount an optic, you lose the rear sight. Or am I missing something? If thats the case, for my purposes that would limit this to range use only.

they have optics with rear sights built in. If you like iron sights, the combo with the red dot is AMAZING! they complimented each other. Find the Red Dot with the iron; fine tune with the Red Dot

I do like the looks of that new CZ, and even the all metal construction. It looks a handsome pistol, though I wouldn't carry it.
But I was dazzled, the high speed/low drag pro shooter put his support hand index finger on the triggerguard.
Can I resume doing that, without being mocked by my range buddies? Gosh, I hope so!
