I just picked up a LNIB CZ P-01 w/ 2 14rd mags, box, etc for $299!

The thing is mint. Not a scratch, not a scuff, no holster wear whatsoever.

I'm so happy I could pee.

This is my first CZ, but all I've heard are good things. Anything special I should know about the P-01? Do's or Don'ts?

Thanks.

Yeee haw! That bayonet is crazy. Yeah, I'm really happy with my buy. I can't believe a shop sold it for $299. Hopefully it's not a lemon.

Now I've got 4 handguns. A RSRH .44 mag for bear defense/ hunting, a XD .40 tactical for open carry while hiking in Utah, a Ruger Mk III Hunter .22 for plinking/ hunting, and the CZ P-01 will be my CCW.

Now just need to find a good IWB leather holster and sign up for my CCW class.

Can anyone recommend leather for this gun? Also, good inexpensive SD ammo in 9mm?

Wow, that's a good deal. I got mine was $275, but it was used, no box, 1 10-rounder, and filthy to boot. Cleaned it up and it was in great shape, but I can't claim "LNIB" status. You have counted major coup!

I can't post pics because the only internet access I have is at work. No lie though. $299, LNIB. My friend who is really into CZs isn't speaking with me at the moment.

So, what IWB leather holster is comfortable for CC with the P-01? Anyone?

Also, good places to buy high cap mags? I'll try searching for info on hot JHP 9mm ammo.

Thanks!

The PO1 comes in 9mm. The steel frame CZ75 Compact is available in 9mm and 40S&W.
My PO1 is my favorite pistola, accurate, reliable, durable, and fits me like acustom made glove.
I agree, Hakans always compliment any CZ!

I was thinking about getting a P-01, and then came across a CPO Sig P228, so ended up going with that. Though a P-01 may be in the future.

I only wish the P-01 came with better stock sights (like the 75 compact).

Whats the largest caliber for the CZ?
The P-01 is 9mm, but you can buy a CZ 40P (same shape to the grip - which, honestly, is the best thing about this new P-01/SP-01 series, they just FIT) in .40S&W for just about $300 online or at a good gun show.

Wooderson you have any info on the 40p, reliability long term durability? I got one a while back traded it in and then ended up buying it back the next day just because it fit my hand so well and I have never had a malfunction out of it.

Boy I am really feeling good about my nib CZ75 Compact 40 S&W!

Supposedly had a factory failure to feed issue but after nearly 200 rounds of UMC from Wally world, no issues at all and will shoot 1.75" groups at 25 yrds off hand.

got it from wittakers in Ky.

$223.00 shipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They do have one CZ40 P with the same description and price available.

Grizz: there is a Don Hume leather, clip-on IWB that I purchased for my Sig P239 that fits a CZ P-01 quite well, and is very comfortable (for an inexpensive holster, that is). I've had no trouble with it. I wish I could remember the exact model...lemme see...ah:

The H715-M W.C.: Waistband Clip-On, for the Sig P239. Works well.

The P-01 is a great weapon. My first shot ever was from 15 yards, dead center in the bullseye. I couldn't believe it. I shoot it almost as much as my 1911s.

I've been curious about the CZ line (and will pick one up in the future) and while I can't help with holsters, I'd suggest checking out (if you haven't already) CZ FORUM lot's of general info on the CZ products and sections devoted to each model (not to mention a holsters section) as well.

Ohh and if I saw one at that price, I'd have a CZ right now (though I want it in a .40)

Here's a pic of my CZ P-01 in a DC special made by Eric at HBE. It is a tremendous IWB holster made by a real gentleman and craftsman.
