New Glock 26, did I get a good deal?

My wife just bought herself a Glock 26 today, since we soon will be able to CCW (Kansas) We went in the gun store to just "look around" and saw a G26 on consignment. It had never been shot and still had the copper color lube.

The pistol came with 2 10 round mags, original case, pierce +1 extention, and Glock factory nightsights for $450.

I guess the story was an ATF agent owned it, but recently retired and wanted Sigs instead. It was manufactured in July 2005.

Did I get a good deal on this purchase?

I paid 400.00 for my VERY near new G26, without night sights. I say you got a pretty good deal.

I'd say you got a VERY good deal. Kentucky Imports, www.kyimports.com, list new Glock 26s & 27s w/ factory night sights at $560. For comparison they also list a used "Mint" model 19 w/ factory night sights & ONE mag for $440. Add shipping, FFL fees, and $20 or so for the Pierce grip extension; you did very well on your G26 purchase.

That's a good price around here. I think they usually go for $495-$525 in this area. I got a killer deal back in October, though. Our "local" indoor range got a batch of special "range program" guns from Glock. Since Missashot and I are in there all the time, they cut me an excellent deal. I got mine (still in the sealed factory box) for $375. Even after taxes, shipping, and FFL fees, I got it for $425....I had to ship it to South Carolina because our favorite range is just a little over the state line in North Carolina. Naturally, I told them to keep me in mind any time they get another batch of range program guns.....I think they sometimes get them from Glock, Para Ordnance, and Kimber.

Seeing that here in Mass, where new Glocks are a no no, a used G26 goes for $700. To me you guys in Free America, get awesome deals. You don't want to know what we pay for banned guns like most 1911, HKs etc. You'd cry.

You got a great deal...$499 for a new G26 is about the best you can do here in the HamptonRoads area.
