Do they have a price on it yet? Is it available now or sometime in the future like their 308 rifle?

Either the mag is big for .22LR or the gun is tiny. LOL Something just looks wrong with that picture. Could be a must have for my.22 collection, but I'd wanna see a price, first. I reckon I could live without the rails, but then, heck, I might wanna laser them squirrels. :D

It should be regular size there, that mag should be the Black Dog Mag made for the M261 conversion of the AR-15, hence why it looks so big. BDM makes the current generation of mags the same overall size as a regular AR mag for appearance sakes. They used to be skinnier, but the fans said they wanted them to at least superficially be the same as an AR mag.

Well, you probably have guys using the conversions for cheap practice and a full sized mag would make sense from the stand point of training.

If this thing is over 200 bucks, forget it, but I'd like to have it just to play with. I have an AR7 that actually works (one of the few from listening to folks here), so I don't really need the portability.

I'm a sucker for .22LR Survival rifles. That looks like it would be a pretty comfortable rifle compared to some of the other options on the market- the AR-7, for one. Haveing a real forend is also a nice feature. It should have some sling swivels. The threaded muzzle is a nice touch- it looks like that thing is even CT legal.

I wonder how many Franklins that's going to cost? Their 5.56 rifle is $450ish. Once you start getting into that price range, you could put together an AR in .22LR, which would be equally stowable and have the same mag options.

They are also going to make a 22 version of the PLR pistol.

The price I heard was about $300.

Is this a new rifle or a conversion kit for the existing SU-16 rifles? The persistence of the gas tube on top of the barrel suggests the latter.

It's an entirely new rifle. SU-16 barrels are hard to remove, and making a caliber conversion kit for one thats easy to use is pretty much imposable. I wonder why it still has the gas tube though?

Black Dog Mag for sure, but probably for the Ceiner kit. I don't think Black Dog has started selling the M261 mags yet.

I'm not crazy about the Kel-tec .22lr, I'd much rather have a AR15 with a Ceiner conversion.
