OP, you mention reversing the bi-pod to fold forward. Do you think there might be any chance of it folding up under recoil?

No I think the locking mechanism to be quite strong from the looks of it...it would take a 105mm to collapse that thing under recoil...it is nice to have it out of the way of the handguard (when both folded and deployed) as well.

Just wanted to update that I am starting to get a bit pissed at DTA...I have yet to receive the magazines and have been lied to twice. First in the letter included with the rifle that stated something to the effect of "Sorry for the inconvenience...magazines have been delayed...should arrive at your address within 5 days", then last week when I was told "didn't know you were one of the people that didn't receive their magazines with the rifle...it will be shipped today". Also a couple months before delivery they said that the magazines were the production delay...must have been one hell of a problem with the magazines. END RANT.

Hey Mav,

Nice piece of art you got there. I bet your going to have a lot of fun with it. Way, out of my price range, but then again, I have never been too good at saving money. I have 4 kids and something always comes up. The want video games, bicycles, more presents for Christmas, school clothes, shoes, dinner... You know... Things they think they need more than me saving a little money for a rifle! LOL You know I am just kidding right?
Anyway, congrats on one hell of a nice rifle, and I am happy to hear that you finally received your magazines today. That will make things a bit easier at the range.

Thanks Mikey. I saved quite a bit for the new toy...and sold a couple of guns (two pistols and a rifle) to help with the funding. I am not rich, I ha to save up for a good while, but I am glad that I did. It was either get married and have a few kids or get a new bullpup precision rifle. Well...you can get kids anywhere...lol.
