Hello from Colorado. I'm new to this site, looks like a good one. I have been in to hunting, shooting, reloading for many years. I'm an NRA endowment life member and have a permit to carry. Have already picked up some useful info here

Greetings Fellow Firearm Fanatics!

I've been an NRA Life Member since 1988 and a CRPA Life Member for quite awhile. My Dad taught me how to shoot when I was 6, took me with him deer hunting when I was 10 and gave me my first firearm (Remington 788 in .243) when I was 13. I took my son deer and turkey hunting the last two years, he'll be 8 this month, and he absolutely loved it!

I own various types of firearms and look forward to learning and sharing information here.

This site looks to be a good place for information and sensible discussion.

Hi

I am from South Eastern Indiana. I am sorta new to firearms, but I love going out and shooting. The only hunting I have done is for rabbits. I currently own a 870 wingmaster, 10/22, ruger single six, and a browning hi-power.

Just another new guy.

Hi folks, looks to be a good site. I'm not busy in the net and may not write much, but I am very interested in learning, I shoot BPCR (A Quigley) and have a 308, a 30-06, and an 8mm Mauser.. Well 2 of those. One is a 1941 Obendorf beautiful piece. the other is a Yugo 48 mounted in an Advanced Technologies stock with a Tasco world class Mil dot. cheap but easily able to shoot 800 meters and further. shoot 450 standing offhand just shoots and feels good. I load my own and love shooting long. BLITZ

New, sorta

Hello, looked around for a while. I have rifles, shotguns, and pistols. I am a disabled retired Marine, 47 living in Tennessee. I prefer military rifle, shotgun, and pistol for recreation. Recently I have been breaking out my 22's with the price of ammo and my living on disability. Reloading is getting expensive too. :cuss: I yearn for the old days when you could pick up a garand for a hundred. Oh well, if frogs had wings they would not bump their rears when they jumped.

Hello from ND

Hello all. Heard a lot about this Forum. Looks great. I am on a few others gun but this one is a real GUN Forum. I am a Smith & Wesson fan as you can tell by my ID. Thanks for letting me come on in!

Hello all, I have posted alittle and thought I ought to formally check in. I am in Ohio in the country. My main interests are in ALL Firearms. If it shoots I'm in. Narrow interests are older military firearms. I have a small range at home and belong to a club a 300 yard range so I can reach out. I hope that covers. Thanks for all the quality information that I find here, I hope I will be able to add some myself.

Just thought I would say hey to everybody. I have read through the site and it looks pretty good. I am not a gun collector but I have a few. I like the ole lever actions but have a few shotguns and a piston.

Hi all, Been a member for a couple months and thought I'd check in. I'm retired USAF (23years), flew on the B52 as the "bombardier." In true military fashion when Iraqi Freedom came around I went to Iraq on the ground assisting the Army by directing aircraft onto the Iraqi's before they could get close to us.
Currently, I'm "competing" in IDPA which I find a total blast. Gives me an excuse, as if one is needed to buy more guns & shoot more often.
As for collecting firearms you'll see I tend to collect what looks good at the time. I own an M-1, M-1A1, 2x ARs, a 10-22, Blaser R-93, Ruger 12gauge, an 870, 4x 1911's, single six, SW 642, Ruger Redhawk .41, and a few others.

Another new guy to the group. It's refreshing to see a group like this. I've been shooting and reloading since age 6, and have raised both daughters in the same manner. The grandson is almost 14, and he's also been raised around firearms and hunting. It doesn't get any better than teaching another child about the responsibilities and joys of shooting / hunting / reloading / outdoors. I have a mixed bag of firearms - shotguns, rifles, pistols, and enjoy reloading on my old single stage RCBS.
