Hello and welcome from ND. I have a sister and her family living in Kentucky, so I've been there. Nice country.

Welcome, Hank. This is a friendly place and there are a lot of knowledgeable members here. Drag up a chair and join in!

Hi,
New here, but have seen many references and recommendations.
I’m a retired Millwright and lifelong tinkerer. Although interested in all manner of projectile launching devices, the last few years have rekindled my interest in (primarily) airguns, and of those, mostly Daisy products. I look forward to studying that which has been posted as well as adding some material of my own.

Welcome, teerex.otw! Your background sounds fascinating. Most of us have had some Daisy experience. I hope you will feel at home here. Please check out the THR primer when you have time, and thanks for checking in.

Hello from the mountains of North Carolina about as far west as you can go and not be in Tennessee. I have been enjoying hunting, shooting and reloading off and on since the early 70's. Retired from a power company in Georgia after 37 years and just enjoying not being on call 24/7. Looking forward to picking up a lot of good information from the many experienced shooters and reloaders here.

Welcome aboard, WoodTek! Congrats on the retirement and welcome to the next level! There are many of us old-timers here and together we have amassed a lot of hard-earned wisdom that we enjoy sharing. Please check out the THR primer when you have time, and don't be a stranger!

Howdy, lived half my life in Washington state and the other half in Florida, been into firearms since I learned what one was, and go camping or shooting whenever I've got the time. I'm here to learn even more and keep myself updated on new designs, discoveries, and what have you, and maybe share a bit of what I know too.

Welcome, JohnnyJ7766! We are glad you found us and hope you will enjoy your time here. We try to be respectful, helpful, and abide by the THR primer found in the general guns discussion section. There is a lot of knowledge and experience on tap, so pitch in and have fun!

I am glad and proud to join your community. I'd like to humbly introduce myself and my website, GunTube.tv. With the recent censorship from popular video hosting platforms, I have created a free-speech firearms-focused platform where anyone of age can post and view legal firearms content.

I am a one-man band and I am not selling anything, nor is the site gathering any revenue currently. My purpose in creating this platform is foremost to give the community an outlet for firearms-related videos of all kinds. I invite all to post their reviews, tutorials, discussions, and more. This outlet is a very basic and simple alternative to big tech that I believe is needed in order to preserve our rights and educate others.

I would say I have been fascinated with guns since a child and primarily since Goldeye came out (both the game and the movie). My EDC rotates between a Sig P365XL and a Shadow Systems MR920L, both of which are equipped with flashlights. I have gone through a long journey of occasionally going to the range to shoot the one and only gun I had (first gun), an M&P 40S&W to now regularly training with a variety of handguns, rifles, and shotguns while wearing full kit and plates!

Welcome to the community, GunTube! It is surprising that our paths have not crossed until now. We try to promote the exchange of information in the firearms community in a respectful and responsible way. We are cautious, however, about being used to build site traffic, especially for an entity that is newly created. With that in mind, I will suggest that you introduce your project in the general gun discussion section but refrain from posting links to your content (other than in your signature field). If members of long standing check out the site and find material worthy of linking (with appropriate commentary) they may want to link videos found there. If you do that, it likely would be considered self-serving and suspect.

Thank you in advance for your understanding, and if you have questions you are welcome to open a conversations channel with any of our staff members.

Lurked for a while, finally joined. Looks like steady heads here.
South central Kansas for the last couple years. Retired.
I am a rank amateur at this stuff.
Mosins - Sahara, Siberia, and Russian Conscript proof.
1911s - Like, shoot reasonably well. I can take them down to springs and pins - and reassemble. Carry weight isn't a problem, six foot and 235.
SS P238 for wife. Sweet shooter.
P85 that needs a trip to Ruger.

Welcome hutch51. I'm another resident of flyover country, and if 51 has anything to do with your birth date we are of similar vintage. We are generally a respectful and well-behaved bunch, but every once in awhile tempers get short and that's why the staff moves in. Check out the THR primer when you have a chance, and I hope you enjoy your time with us.

Welcome, Hutch, from another resident of south central Kansas. You've landed on one of the more civilized corners of the Internet. There's a lot to learn from others around here, and new faces are always welcome.

I've recently renewed my interest in 1911s and I've been reading about their care and maintenance.

Greetings groovy gun guys and gals! I'm a retired Kentucky woman whose been shooting since I was 8 years old. I really love guns, and I have a variety of them. I am a little different than most shooters in that I don't have a 22 handgun, a Glock, or a 1911.

Hello Hiker40503, and welcome. You don't need to own any guns to hang out with us, but I hope you will let us know your interests and will find information that will help you enjoy the shooting sports even more. We strive for kindness and respectful discourse, and our interest are wide ranging but we try to eschew politics in the interest of keeping useful information flowing. A pass through the THR primer in the general gun discussion section is recommended for all new members, and we look forward to getting to know you better.

Welcome fayettefatts! I am at the age where I like to enlarge what's on the screen too! We are glad to have you with us, and hope we can all get a little smarter through the process. All we ask is that you be kind to others on the board and have a good time. Check out THR primer when you have time, to get a taste of how we operate. Enjoy!

Joined and active a long time ago. Been gone for even longer. Still in east TN and still on the right side of the dirt! Still get to the range when I can. Retired about 7 years ago and have been traveling the US and Canada.
