New guy in AZ.

Hey guys. I am obviously new, I just wanted to introduce myself. In Mesa, AZ. All about gun rights, but I am just starting to get really involved. Getting CCW, and want to stay informed. Allot of reasons for getting CCW and becoming more involved. Number one reason is because I believe gun education and ownership could prevent a significant number of crimes.

Howdy! My mom and grandparents on her side came from Chandler, my dad from Benson and I was born in Phoenix. Welcome aboard!

BTW, how are the gun shows there? I'm gunshow dealer (accessories) who's always looking to find new venues. I did the last Phoenix show and it was a blast all around. Didn't make much money, but sure met some awesome friends.

Andrew Lukban is a noob here...

Hello to all.

This is a great web site. It looks like there are lot of intelligent and fun posts here. Thanks for letting me sign in :)

Greetings All !

Hi, I'm 50 years old, from Ohio, just west of Cleveland, and have enjoyed reading all these forums and posts over the last few months. I've learned a lot from all of you and the knowledge base at THR is immense. Some other "mature" guys got me interested in shooting last year and it has become a great deal of fun and a new area for me to study. I have joined two local shooting ranges, one indoors for pistol competition, and one outdoors for rifles and pistols. There are some interesting characters (in a good way) that I've met at the range and it sounds like there are some interesting characters and great folks on this forum. I've had the chance to shoot many more rifles and pistols than I own, and I'm having a tough time deciding where my interests are in getting some more and different guns. New technology is impressive. Milsurps are fascinating and full of history. Handguns are a challenge to shoot well. It's a pleasure to meet and join you and I look forward to your thoughts and opinions on my new shooting hobby.

Just thought I would introduce myself. I'm currently a college student, about to turn 21, and about to get my CHP. I look forward to learning a lot more about guns on here. I have a little knowledge but I have already learned a ton since finding this place.

Hi, I'm in Northern VA. I'm planning to get a pistol, rifle, and shotgun. Thanks for all the good posts I've already read and I look forward to using this site quite a bit in the future.

another texan

howdy; was told about this place,so here I am.
yep, I live in texas; love handguns, and am in law enforcement.
My favorite gun I own is a colt .45. (is there any other) lol.
Oh yeah, and I am a female.
enuff fer now.

Howdy all

I was introduced to this thread thankfully by another member that I chatted with on a different libby type forum...:banghead: :fire: I'm SO thankful to find this one, I've been looking... My wifey and I are simple folks, we like the smell of powder, diesel, love hit and miss engines, enjoy living with minimal intrusion of big brother, and I've been labeled by my former co workers as brutally honest. Anyway, I'm glad and thankful I was pointed to this forum...:D

New from Texas

Hello all. New to this forum, but have been told about THR by others in other forums. I have not been shooting for about 30 years. I decided to buy a semiauto after friends invited me to a range a few weeks ago. I hope to have lots of conversations and learn much.

New(ish) Guy

Howdy!
I've been here since Sept '06, just posted for the third time, and realized that I had'nt introduced myself, as I normally do when joining a forum.
I look forward to reading and engaging in interesting topics in the future with like-minded gun owners who enjoy and respect the resposibility of firearms ownership.

Howdy,

My name is Arthur and I am in central Texas now. I recently escaped from PRK with my wife. I am into all guns, although I recently have gotten into NFA stuff.

Found this website while searching for information on handguns. Looks like a great place, look forward to participating in discussions.

Question

Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for some direction. I bought a Steven's .22 cal Springfield Model 86C for my 9 year old son at a gun show. Turns out the sale was less than honorable.

I need to find a new stock for it. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Hello everyone. I'm new not only to the forum, but new to guns in general. I just bought my first gun this weekend and I plan on taking the concealed handgun class next Saturday. I bought a S&W Sigma 9 mm. I've received a lot of mixed opinions on the gun--some people think it's great, others tell me I should have bought a diiferent one.... I hope to get a lot of help and advice from members on this forum. Thanks in advance for any help / advice you can give to me.:)

Hi
I'm from Germany; why does a European enter this Forum? Well let me explain.

I'm one of the very few people her who have access to guns because I shoot in a sports club. Apart from that I value the right and ability to self defense. In the aftermath of the VT shooting I read a lot about this pro/contra gun stuff(I was already familiar to the issue due to my hobby). With Europe's media unanimously blaming the gun laws I searched the Web and finally found www.a-human-right.com(great Website!). As I spend a lot of my time in the English part of the Net(I'm an active member on Newsvine.com where the issue of gun control was also discussed) I had a look at the Forum and finally registered here.

To make a long story short: These anti-gun hypocrites, here in Europe, pissed me off severely .:fire:

If you have any questions, just ask.
