I like 3 gun matches & hunting. I'm pretty vocal about the 2nd Amendment, "letters to the editor", letters and phone calls to congress members, and active conversion of anti's from the dark side. It's amazing how much fun they have at the range. Even if they don't convert they do see what I'm talking about.

On a side note, I do feel small and inadequate posting after Vash now.

Hey everyone. This is now my second post. My first post was under the now massive America's Great Gun Game thread. I am from California and as of now I own no firearms but intend to purchase a handgun when I turn 21 in a few months. I will be sure to keep everyone updated as to what I purchase. Right now I am looking at the Glock 19.

I am interested in history, politics, firearms, combatives, hiking and the outdoors. Also enjoy a good board game (www.boardgamegeek.com). Right now I am reading quite a bit about the civil war. Feel free to message me if you want to know more.

Hello to everyone. I'm from Tampa, Florida and own a Winchester Model 70 7mm, a Marlin 1894 .44Mag, a Savage 10FP .308, a Ruger 10/22 Target rifle, a Mossberg 500A 12ga., a Glock 33. I'm looking to add to my collection a Ruger Mini-14, a O/U shotgun (undecided) and a compact 1911 style .45ACP (I'm debating between a Kimber Ultra Carry II and a Para-Ordnance Slim Hawg)

I'm into guns, hunting (bow & gun), fishing (Bass over all other species), motorcycles and computers.

Hello, all,

I signed up to join in the discussion with my colleague Dr. McDowell. Congrats to all of you who read that thread. Participation was top drawer! You actually left me nothing much more to say!

HI! I love hunting and shooting. Spent a few years in law enforcement. I have a Ruger bolt action .300 win. mag., a Remington 12 gauge model 870, Sig Sauer .45, Taurus lightweight .38 snubnose, a single shot rifle and love them all. Carried a Ruger 6" stainless security six on duty (.357 mag). Never used it...whew. Fall is coming....hoooooray!

I'm currently a student pilot and wannabe hack writer, and just started working at one of the local gunshops here in Waco full-time. I've been shooting since I was little. Presently, interest runs to either old or military, with a particular taste for combat and riot shotguns and carbines of various flavors.

...but from the picture, you probably guessed. :D

Welcome all, put your feet up and have a good time. Remember to read the info in the Library and the forum rules.

It is also a great idea to check the stickies in each forum occasionally.

Hello, my name is George and I live in central Illinois. I enjoy shooting sports #1 followed by hunting, fishing, hiking and camping when time permits. I have been an NRA member since '96 and always try to fight the good fight for the RTKBA with knowledge & facts regarding the subject. I love my wife and son and we all shoot and hunt together. I would like to meet other folks who like shooting(guns or bows)in my area to go shooting. I like talking guns & gun rights along with hunting & history. My firearm collection includes a RRA LAR-15 .223,Glock 23-.40,Beretta 92FS-9mm,Wasr AK-7.62x39mm,Beretta AL-390-12ga,S&W 686-.357magnum and an assortment of .22lr rifles and pistols.

New from Missouri

Came across your site from a link at another CCW site! I spend time reading a lot of gun sites and seem to have my hands into a lot of shooting. I shoot combat pistol at least once a month, reload all my own ammo. I also teach CCW classes and make Holsters. In my free time I run a cattle ranch and work for the Sheriff Dept. part time.

Check six.

I'm Elm Creek Smith, my SASS alias, also known as Wardog 6 in some circles. I'm a retired Captain, Armor, United States Army. I started shooting at around eight years old with my dad's J.C.Higgins (High Standard Sentinel) .22 revolver. At 10 I got a .22 Remington single shot that my dad got when a client couldn't afford to pay for some work. When I was 11, my dad gave me his old H&R .410. I bought my first handgun through the mail back in the days before the GCA '68, a Colt Commander Lightweight in .45 ACP. My current battery includes a S&W Model 13 3 inch RB (my primary carry piece), a Kahr K9 (an old black one) which subs for the M13 on occasion, a KelTec P32 which is always with me (like my dinky Swiss Army knife), a S&W M681 (the house gun and my wife's gun), a Parkerized Remington Model 870 12 gauge with 20 inch barrel with rifle sights, some .22 rifles, and my "cowboy" guns. At times, I think the NRA is too willing to compromise, but no one else has their clout. I am a staunch defender of the Constitution that I swore an oath to preserve and protect.

Greetings from the People's Republic of Illinois. I will visit this site until Governor Blagoeiovich  shuts me down. I dig the 2nd amendment and just about anything Ruger or Springfield. I'm in the market for a XD or 1911 soon, and welcome any suggestions or advice to make my purchase the correct one.

I also enjoy trap and plinking and have an 870 as well as a 10/22 and a Remington 514 (given to me by dad). last but not least is my M&P 15 and also, although not mine but issued to me, a winchester 1300.

I look forward to reading the interesting posts and adding my 2 cents when I have knowledge that I can impart upon, or rather depart with. :)

Hello all. In case you were wondering, I was named after my father, Legaleagle_44:) and hail from rain soaked, gawd awful Oregon.

My special interest involves legal issues, specifically constitutional issues, so you may see me on the legal board more than anyplace else. I hope that my posts will make you think and I look forward to responding to posts that make me think.

New Here

Hello. I'm new here. MrHoppes is my husband. I've been lurking a bit and decided to register and say hi.

Hi!

And since the memo under this forum reads that everything must be gun related (or however that is worded) I'll say it.

Gun.

There. Now I am unlurking and following the rules. :neener:
