Hi Everyone, Nick here.

I have been on here for about a month or 2 now, but never really introduced myself....I am currently in the Coast Guard, I currently own a SIG P229 in 40 S & W, and am interested in the Rock River line of AR's. I am actually picking up my first one around March 1st and getting 1 more after that, but I think that one will be in the 6.8mm SPC caliber. I also am just starting to reload my own ammo.

Another New Guy

Hello All,

I am SGT Sweetwood, an active duty Army Topographer. I am in Iraq until at least June 08 this time. My interests are in all guns. My wife and I both carry for the protection of our family, we are also both very avid hunters. Being active military I am very interested and involved in all legal aspects as well. Not knowing where I might get stationed causes great problems for us. I could get stationed in states where if I bring my entire collection, I would end up commiting a felony. So I am always trying to get lawmakers attention on what they need to do to fix it. Enjoy the site, and can't wait to talk to you all.

Salem, Oregon reporting in. Not "new" here, but it is only my second post. Into EBRs (M14s, FALs, arfs, and AKs) as well as SiGs , Glocks, Smith revolvers and am looking forward to picking up an HK USP Tactical sooner than later. Also enjoy long walks on the beach and snuggling by the fire. Aviation nut and am an armature competitive shooter (USPSA, ICORE, Speed Steel and "Action Rifle").

Hello fellow gun nuts, im 18, and from Caldwell Idaho, i have only been a shooter for 5 years, but i know my stuff. after begging my parents for gun when i was thirteen i begged my parants to let me get a .22(neither of them Liked guns, and were afraid of them), but they didnt want to spend that much on a .22, so they started me off right by scaring the He!! out of me with my vary first gun the m44 mosin nagant. i got a subscription to shogun news, and it was official, i was an addict, and i dont intend to stop my obsession anytime soon. Im into anything that is fun, especially mil sup guns.

Just Another Outdoor Nut Who Reloads

Always loved the outdoors thanks to my father who I do sorely miss having around . Came to get the reloading bug when his pride and joy .264 mag pre 64 Winchester that he willed to me suffered from Winchester making the ammo obsolete (for 2 years) and sending me into a panic. I suffered long and hard trying to duplicate the exremely accurate factory load for this rifle to preserve the bragging rights of this rifle among family and friends who many years earlier knicknamed the rifle "Lucifer"as it was truly Hell on game . I succeded along with the help of many good folks such as yourselves and a good gunsmith who lengthned the throat of that rifle to make it user friendly with common bullets available for reloading. I currently
load for the .264 Win. Mag, 300 Win. Mag Browning A-bolt, 6.5x55 Model 96 Swede, 7.65X54 Model 91 Nagant, .243 Rem. 700 CDL, .223 Rem. Tikka T3 Lite, .32-20 Sav. Mod. 23 Sporter, .357 Mag. S&W Mod. 66 , .41 Mag. S&W 657 Classic and soon to start 12 Ga. Shotgun loading . Love to swap baloney with others of same, Fishing spoken here too and live in Central oregon, local boys extra welcome !!!

New member intro.

Greetings;
Mike's my name but I go by Leverfan here and elsewhere.
Accumulating pre and post War firearms is my passion but I'll pick from the intersting stuff that comes my way also. I like to meat hunt and have found the goats that run wild in the No. CA area to be some good eating.
I am married with kids and Grandkids. Every one in the family shoots.
Desert camping or tree line altitude spots are my favorite getaway spots.
Always buying or selling some sort of shootin' iron. Met some good people in the gun business. Life member NRA, GOA, CRPA, JPFO, VFW. USN 72-76 So. China Sea.
That's enough...

I want to say hi.

I've been on this site numerous times in the past but, for some reason I never registered or posted.

I just picked up a used SA Mil-Spec to try my hand at screwing up a perfectly good handgun under the "guise" of making it better. I figure it'll keep me out of the tavern (and food, and gas, and.......).

Hi all:),

Dave

Hello all, My name is Scott. I am enthralled by quite a few different types of firearms. My favorites being handguns, 1911s, well my 1911s in particular. I own guns mostly for self defense and above all because the constitution gives me the right/responsibility to.

Hey all,

I just picked up my first rifle a Swiss K31 (okay, I had a Daisy Powerline back when i was 12) after some very long deliberation after reading and rereading these forums...i must say that i am very happy with this purchase.

I'm a relatively new gun owner and i own a Kimber 1911 custom ii along side the mentioned rifle.

I'm also a member of the local gun club, Livermore rod and gun).

thanks!

Welcome RenardSubtil!

Sounds like you're off on the right foot. IMHO you can't go wrong with a Kimber. I've got a Kimber Compact CDP, a Kimber TLE Pro, a Kimber 84M rifle in .260 Rem and a Kimber Hunter Silhouette rifle in .22LR.

Stick around. I learn something every time I log on.

Hey Just joined up. I really enjoyed reading some of the posts and thought this would be a great place to get info. Just bought my first handgun (XD40) and cannot wait to go burn some rounds through it. Some shooting (rifles) done when I was in the service but wanted something for home defense. Must admit, I have been intrigued with all the views, info and passion towards firearms and look forward to reading, posting and learning more.

A little late

I joined this forum back in 06 but really lost track and never intro'd. I'm retired Army and a gun collector/shooter. I have a assortment of rifles, a couple shotguns, some revolers and semi-autos pistols. I also reload a little. I retired in 07 and moved back to Alabama and just haven't got back to shooting regular which I regret. I belonged to a shooting club while in Utah an shot regularly. Since I moved here it's been just me. My wife will shoot some but have other things more important to her going on.
So, I look forward to conversing with ya'll and learning more.
