New Guy Minnesota

Hi I am a new member. I am interested in all areas of guns including pistols and rifles. Mostly conventional hunting rifles with little modification and the same with pistols. I love to shoot and hunt with guns and am a CCL holder here in MN. Interests include accurizing and fun stuff to hunt like Coyotes.

Hello All, Happened across this sight when doing some research and I'm glad I did. I'm just a boy from Oklahoma (55 year old boy) who lives on a lake and loves the water and the woods. Believe in God and my country and my right to defend myself.

Hello all,I grew up on a farm hunting small game, joined the Navy just before my 18th birthday.Bought a 30-30 when I was discharged and took up deer hunting. Now I hunt them with a .243.I've taken more than 60 in the last 47 years.I recently bought a .50 cal flintlock and am experimenting with it.I'm a retired tool and diemaker.I like the Pennsylvania October and January muzzleloader seasons.

Hey everyone, new member though I've been reading this forum for a little while...lots of useful info. I bought my first pistol a few months ago, I'm in my 20s and grew up in a gun-free house, so I'm fairly new to this.

Hello All!
I just moved here from Colorado. I'm disappointed with recent Colorado gun law implementation, but pleased to be here in the Boise area.

hi to all
i have been around guns all my life and have great respect for them as well as my second amendment rights and hope to keep them both.i have two grand sons of witch i am raising and hope to some day pass my guns to them but not until they earn the knowledge and respect that goes with gun ownership.as far as what i like to shoot my favorite is black powder cartrige and early lever action fire arms such as 1873 sharps ,1860 henry dont get me wrong these are just my favorites.

Waassssuuuuppp

I live in Alaska and like most of my neighbors have a close personal relationship with firearms. I use my hunting rifles to supply my family with meat as I have a bounty right out my back door but my heart had a special place for my tactical weapons. I have found this forum to be the most helpfull when researching guns and stuff and decided it was time to give back to the people:) so here I am in all my glory a real live mountain man to bestow his knowledge upon you.
Carpe Diem your welcome :)

I'm a shooting enthusiast from Finland.
Anything that goes bang is fun.
I own rimfire and centerfire pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns.
I compete in rimfire events and IPSC and do some hunting.
Other activities include handloading and raving about civil liberties.
My current plans include bullet casting and getting more guns.

Brown Safe says "Hello!"

Hello High Road!

I’m Sage Naumann with Brown Safe. We’ve been avid followers of your thought-provoking conversations here at HighRoad and routinely receive referrals through well-informed individuals on this forum. We thought it time to officially join the community and make introductions. For those unfamiliar with us, Brown Safe is a U.S. manufacturer of high security safes. Our safes and vaults are housed in military installations throughout the world. We also sell a wide variety of direct-to-customer, high security, residential safes here on our home soil. If you’re wondering what sets our safes apart, this recent article from Popular Mechanics covered it quite well.

We also operate Brown Safe Research Labs, a blog tied to our Research and Development division in which we cover firearms, and many other tactical gadgets and tools. The blogs aim is to provide valuable design info and insights for the top weapons and tools currently in use. We recently produced detailed write-ups covering the M1A Socom II, the Kahr P380, and the top ten tactical tomahawks.

We’ve registered with this forum because we love discussing all things weapon related and connecting with those of a like mind. We hope to answer any safe related questions along the way.

Thanks,
Sage and the Brown Safe Team

Hello, I'm from Illinois, as well as the only US President born and raised here, Ronald Reagan. With your help I hope to learn a lot and stay safe.

Hello friends! I'm a new member here. I really love this forum. I looked at this forum and could find a lot of useful and interesting information.

Just a Hello from a new guy

Howdy everyone.
I'm Dave, from Southern California.
Just happened to find this site and it looks great.
I belong to only one other site; WristTwisters, a motorcycle site.
Been shooting since Dad put a Colt Huntsman in my hand in 1968 and said "Keep your dang thumb down below the slide!"

Been reloading since 1980.

Have two boys, 13 and 15. Started them to shoot with a Ruger MKII Target Slabside at 9 years old.

I suppose I'll be doing a bunch of looking around as there is plenty here to peruse.

Happy plinking, guys and girls

Dave

I'm sorry. I did not notice the introduction thread.

Will the admin please move this over there for me?

Thank you in advance.

Dave

Hello all new members. I hope you all find everything that you look for in a 2A site on this site. I know I did. I am truely proud to be a member.

*Edit*
Realized I never formally introduced myself on this thread.
My name is Stephen, I'm 30 years old. Come from a long line of military and LE. As my handle says I'm into Big Bore guns. However, I only hunt big game (other than hogs) with my Matthews bow. And I'm not against hunting them with a bow either.

Currently work in the mental health profession in a crisis stabilization unit. It's a trip for sure. But it's never dull and I have learned so much about people.

Hey Everyone-- My name's Bill, and I'm from Bridgton, Maine. I've been involved in 2nd amendment politics since the mid 80's when I first got my permit in Ct., where I grew up. I'm pretty active on Facebook, and WAS, in a political forum where I was one of the few "token" conservatives..... until I got banned.. :banghead: Also involved with a new group up here called Gun Owners of Maine ( http://gunownersofmaine.org/ ), looking to make sure we STAY one of the least gun controlled states in the union. This is the second gun rights forum I'm getting involved in, the first being one strictly for Bersa Owners (my carry piece). It's great to be talking "with the choir" for a change instead of banging heads all the time!!

Hello from snowy Colorado

Hey guys,

My name is Amanda. I don't actually own any guns, but I joined this site so that I can learn more about them as well as to get information about the gun control debate. I am not sure where I stand on the issue, and I do not like to say that I have an opinion on something until I understand both sides of the issue. My views are complicated, but I am willing to chat with anyone interested. Thanks.

Hi y'all!

Hello to everyone! My name is Chuck and have always had a love for shooting and firearms. I cherish our constitution and my family. I have always loved reading the threads on this site. Hope to learn and try to help others learn while I'm here. Thank you!

Hi,

My name is Jeff and I'm from Kentucky. I enjoy shooting for fun and occaisional hunting. I like all rifles, shotguns, and pistols but prefer shooting pistols mainly due to the fact that it doesn't require as much space. I beleive many lawmakers that want to make gun laws have no idea what it is like to live in a rural area where there are varmits, wild game, and where law enforcement response time could be 30 minutes to an hour. I whole heartedly beleive in our Constitutional Right to bear arms.

Howdy Everyone

Just new to the High Road community, but some of you guys may recognize me from Gunboars or x54r.net. Google has turned up useful information from old posts on this site time and time again so I figured I'd join you guys and add what I can to the discussion.

A little bit about me. I'm a chemical engineer in my early twenties. I'm a big milsurp collector, avid shooter, fledgling Reloader and Im a competitive rifle shooter for Michigan State University, though home for me is in Illinois. I hope you all like new members!
