I just discovered this site recently and since I have seen alot of really good info on the PT145 here, I wanted to share a thread that I have had going over at TFL concerning my purchase and first range trip with my new PT145.

While it won't replace my G19 as my favorite handgun, my G26 may not be getting as much carry time after this :D

Here's the link:

The range report is near the bottom. In addition to the thread contents, after fooling around with the gun some more last night, I found that the trigger is much easier to control when pulling with the pad of the finger instead of the joint. Blacking out the rear dot on the Hienie sights REALLY helped me with sight alignment when trying to align the sights on target.

Anyway, looks like some good folks on this board from what I have read so far. Looking forward to posting more!

Yes, welcome to the board. Funny but I had the same realization recently about the fingerpad on the trigger instead of the joint. I find that it works better, especially on a DAO, but I have to work to defeat a decades old bad habit. Glad you're enjoying the PT145.
