A little bit about me:

Currently a college student, going to school in Chicago, Illinois. originally from the north shore burbs of Chicago. doing everything in my power to bring CCW to illinois. hopefully we get it this year *fingers crossed*.

Gun experience:

after lurking here for a good few months, i can say for sure that my knowledge doesnt even come close to what the greatly knowledged people of THR. i am an avid hangun fan. shot many different guns but still do not OWN one. but looking to purchase either a Kel-Tec P3AT or a Bersa Thunder .380. in the new few weeks with a XD-40 following soon after that (if my funds allow).

i am looking forward to becoming a productive member of THR and just wanted to say hi.

Chicago huh I was there years ago for a Cubs game had a good time. Isn't hard to own a gun in Chicago? Good choice on pistols oh and welcome aboard :D
 
Great to have you here, I understand chicago is pretty anti-gun. How did you escape the brainwashing? :)Let us know when you buy your first gun.
 
Welcome, this is a great bunch of folks to get to know.

My parents met and married in Chicago after WWII. My two olderst brothers were born there. S while I have some fondness for the place, I really hink most blue states suck!
 
Welcome.....good folks here....let me know a little more about you, a kid I kinda got interested in shooting is from Chicago...currently going to a LEO Academy there. Mite try to hook you guys up....

Welcome, jhegro. Make yourself at home. New guy buys the beer and ammo.

Used to travel to Chicago on a weekly basis. Always felt kinda naked there without my carry gun. Good luck in getting CCW. We're pulling for y'all.
