I just got a GP100 4" this week. Love the gun. I was able to shoot it yesterday. I used factory 357mag PMC 125 was pleased with the results. Will do a lot better than I can at this time. I will be using it for my camping and backwoods fishing gun. Any good full power factory loads I should be trying out.

Also does the transfer bar rattle on all of them?

Hornet, I think they all rattle. Has been a while since handled one.

I prefer Black Hills ammo. Talk to Tamara about that Joe-juh Arms stuff that is around. Heard good things about it, but don't know how it is at night. .357 at night (as any load) can be brutal on the eyes and you'll need the force for the 2d shot.

Glad you like your weapon.

I've got the GP-100 in 6" stainless, and my roommate has the 4" blued. Great guns. The transfer bar rattles a bit on both of them. Not much, but the rattle is there. Hope you enjoy your new toy.

Congrats on your new Gp100 try Corbon ammo they have some hot stuff. I shook my GP couldnt hear any transfer bar rattle .:)

Just bought a used 3" SS GP100 (fixed sights) 357 mag and really like the gun. I just started working some loads up for it and its going to be my main CCW gun.

Arub, the KGB-141? Is that the Russian version? Sorry couldn't resist that one. I gotta admit, the KGP-141 is probably my favorite revolver.

I have a 6inch stainless with the heavy barrel. Several years and a few thousand rounds and it is still nice and tight. Transfer bar does have just a little play in it.
