New Scope for DMR

This is my Designated Marksman Rifle (JP Upper on Bushmaster lower w/JP Trigger). I had an EOTech mounted on it but was not able to shoot to the potential of the gun. I just finished mounting an IOR 2.5-10x40mm w/ MP8 (mil reticle) on a LaRue Tactical M4/SPR mount. I really like the mount, it allows me to forward mount the scope enough to get the needed eye relief. The rifle will easily shoot 1/2 MOA at 100yds with 60gr VMAX and 75 BTHPs. I can wait to take the rifle out to 300-500yds. It is a very nice compliment to my M4gery.

Very nice, coming from a non EBR guy. What was the groups with the old unit??? Was it distance that became a limiting factor??

When I had the EOTech on it I could hit an IPSC target at 300yds about 5 out of 6 times firing singles as fast as I could re acquire the target.
At 250yds (current set-up) I can hit a 5"x5" steel target every shot, bi-pod off a trunk hood. Slightly slower but much more accurate. If I wasn't going for pin point hits I could go even faster.

What kind of barrel do you have on it? 1:7?

It is a 1/8 I believe. It shoots both the 60gr VMAX and 75gr BTHPs very well.
