I am always told that I have enough shotguns but they are all pumps, SxS doubles, O/U, and single shot. I have owned a semi-auto (Browning A-500R) but never really liked it for some reason. Now I think I want something a little different, mainly for shooting skeet, trap, etc. I am thinking about the Franchi I-12 or 712 Raptor. Anyone with experience with those guns??

The only 2 Franchi autos that I have encountered were sold shortly after by their owners. They were a 20 ga and a 12 ga, don't know what models they were, but they would not reliably run target shells on the skeet field. I think they were a recoil design similar to a Beneli.
. Guess I'll forget that and wait for the new Remington to come out so I can see how that feels. The pictures look nice.SShooterZ

The Franchi 48 AL has always gotten good reviews from what I've seen. People especially like it in 28 gauge.

I've buddies with AL 48s, but no experience with newer Franchi models. They do seem to be a class act.
There's a couple new Rem Autos. Besides the new 105 CTI with bottom ejection and space materials, there's a couple new 1100s.
