I had a friend call me yesterday to ask if I wanted to buy his shotgun off of him. He is a little hard up for money and I said sure. He has a Vang-Comp Mossberg 590a1. The shotgun is done in a two tone finish black/green which I love. It has ghost ring sights, Surefire forend, ported barrel, extended saftey, magazine extension, tactical swing, Speed Feed stock and has trigger work done to it. I picked it up for $475. Is this a good deal? gun has about 70 rnds through it. I have now put my standard 590 up for sale at my local gun shop as I will no longer need it. I have it on consingment and the store owner thinks I can get close to the same money for it as it has never been shot. What do you guys think. This seems like a killer deal. I will be posting picks in 10 days after the waiting period is up and I pick it up. I really can't wait as the porting should help make the shotty much more comfortable to shoot. Thanks.

That's a very good price, considering all the trinkets attached to it. The Surefire foreend and the Speedfeed stock would set you back about $250 alone.

If you were to just buy a new 590A1 and have all that done to it, you'd be out about a grand, so I guess you did alright. ;)
