Well thanks for all of those who have helped me with the shotty project. Here it is in its progression. I decided not to drill and tap the reciever for a ghost ring set up (yet). During my research I stopped by the local FFL and found an 18in Barrel with a Trijicon FS. They also had a Surefire fore-end. Here are a few pictures. I have since added the mag tube extension. The 6 Shot side saddle was omitted after handling a shotty with the side saddle and decided that it wasnt something that I wanted. I'm going to wait on the stock at this point due to the amount of various options but I've narrowed it down to the Speedfeed Pistol Grip Setup, keep the wood stock or an adaptor what will allow for an AR pistol grip and collapsable stock. The Sling will come after selection of stock.

Here are the pictures.

wait, don't all decent shotgun manufacturers Drill and tap their reciievers for scope mounts and ghost ring sights already?

shouldn't it just be a matter of putting the sight on the reciever and screwing it down? ;)

I just got back from the range with that PMC Buck. It patterns pretty bad out of my 18" barrel also. With the 20" barrel it was awesome. Go figure  They turned out the lights for me so I could play with the SF. Pretty darn nice.

Time to go find some new buckshot and a case of ammo. It kept eating the Federal Shotshells from Walmart. :)

Since the pictures I've put over 120 rounds of birdshot into it and I'm taking her out again this weekend if all goes well :)
