Picked up a new Sig Sauer tactical operator in 9mm yesterday. Since I work at the store, I got a smoking deal(don't ask cause I won't tell) and had to get it.

The Short Reset Trigger- couple this with a 20 round magazine..... Do I really need to go on?

Fit and finish are (as all 226s) impeccable. It comes with night sights, the front being a true glo ahead of the tritium. In both night and day, the front is clearly distinguishable from the rear. The grip Gomes down a little more to engulf the magazine having a positive effect on the grip itself. It came with 4 20round magazines. It has a rail. I'm sure there's more, I'll post pictures soon.

I bought one just like it over a year ago. I don't shoot my plastic guns anymore. It is that good and a super sweet shooter. Call me a sig convert. Now if I could only find a P227 to go along with it.

I'm in a dilemma as I have a 227 available for me to buy. I'm just not sure I like it.

What didn't you like about the P227? Not that I'm second guessing your opinion, more curious as to why/what.

It's nice by design, but as for it being a .45..... I'm gonna have to actually shoot one first.

I'm more interested in a P226R SAO. Love my Sig P220R SAO.

Whenever a friend looking to buy a first 9mm handgun tries an assortment of mine, the P226 is pretty much always the one they like best until they hear the price :( then they usually settle for an M&P or a Glock.

I'm looking to get one of these myself but I been reading a lot of mix reviews on holsters due to the rails. Have you got a holster for it yet? All I would want is a simple owb holster like a Blackhawk Serpa and would love some first hand experience from someone that owns one.

I've got a sig holster that is almost identical to a serpa that fits it great. It's for the 226. Can't remember the nomenclature for it though. Just look up sig sauer retention holster p226.
