I went and got my new smith & wesson sw40ve (sigma) 40cal yesterday, got to squeeze some rounds through it today, 100 rounds to start with & no problems.:)
trigger pull is strong...

Congrats on your purchase!!! Should have went with the M&P, though :D

For an inexpensive gun, the Sigma can't be beat. The trigger pull sucks, but if you have a background in Double Action revolvers, it's not that bad. Rest assured, by the time you get used to that trigger pull, you'll be able to shoot the stiffest double-action out there.

I looked at pros & cons on the sigma before the purchased it, but thought if it stot half as good as my m&p i'd be satisfied.

I've been wanting to get one, and I've heard/read that a Glock #4 trigger spring fixes the stiff trigger. Anyways let see some picks and some range reports!

well, at first it felt as if it wus shooting to the left, but I think it wus just me tryin to get the fill of the gun.

i had the sigma and loved it, but my brother in law wanted a pistol for HD so i sold it to him with over 200rands, holster, 2 mags for $280. i only put 100rounds through it and i loved it. but i love my revolver now and i still enjoy the strong trigger pull.

I'm considering one in .40 as a truck gun if I don't find the Ruger in my signature.

I hear you can remove the spring with the pigtails and that will lighten up the trigger and its free.

I am not a fan of them but I will admit it is a hard deal to pass up for a beater truck gun.
