Webley's early RIC's had one piece grips mounted by 2 screws, one from the top of the fame, behind the hammer, and at the bottom thru the "butt plate", which in the Pre-RIC models(1868-70ish) had what were known as"butt(or base) plate" mounted ejector rods!! Before the adoption of the barrel mounted ejection system!
