New stock for Winchester Mod 24 (pic)

I just finished this new stock for a 20 guage double barrel for a gunsmith who is refinishing the shotgun. Thought some of you might like the picture. It is a plain grade walnut stock. It took a little fitting and a lot of rubbing but really brought out the character of the wood. Thanks to dfariswheel because I pretty much followed his instructions in the sticky. I used Teak oil on this one instead of True oil. I like the satin finish.

man, that oil penetrated the wood well and it really looks deep. Excellent job filling the grain, etc...
