I'm new to CCW. I have several handguns but all are 4 inch barrels handguns. I'm saving the money now and when I get my tax, I will be getting this one. I want the best especially when I life depends on it. Here's the one I'm looking at and saving up for. Any INPUTS?

Never been a fan of the uber short tube 45s. Make sure that what ever HP you are carrying that it can open up properly at the lower velocity.

At that size, you might consider a Kahr 45 or a Glock 36

You might want to also look in the Sig P245. It's basically a chopped down P220. About the same overall outer dimensions as the 1911 pattern compacts, but has a 3.9" barrel vs the 3.0" in most short 1911's. A bit of an oddball length but it does really help get the velocity up enough to improve the reliability of expansion in the bullets. It's also a but less expensive, and mine is quite accurate, at least with Speer 200gr +p Gold Dots. I have an HBE Com3 IWB holster (www.hbeleatherworks.com), and with that it is quite comfortable and concealable. Best part for me though, is that the Sig is the absolute most natural pointing handgun I've ever held.
