Recently, I purchased a S&W model 15-4 for $225. I was wondering if this was a reasonable price? Attached is a pic of the gun exactly as the day I bought it. Grips came on the gun.

Exactly what I paid for mine with original box. Some here say it is high. It is still reasonably tight, has nice trigger, and is dead-nuts accurate. Can't go too wrong for $225........

I bought the same critter(15-4) here in Calif.,for $265 with a 2" barrel and stock grips, and thought I made out like a fat rat  Somehow my wife ended up takeing a liking to it :scrutiny:

$225 for a Model 15 in good shape is quite reasonable.

Steve F. -- $225 for a 2" Model 15 is very reasonable. They are relatively uncommon. I paid $275 or $300 for mine.

Yep, exactyly what I paid for mine a couple months ago here in N.C. And its a really good shooter...wouldn't take twice that for it as they are not exactly easy to come by in nice condition...at that price.

Very NICE gun...I'd love a blue one. Congrratulations!!

By the way, that's what I paid for my wife's 15-4 (see below) We got no box/papers but it's a nice shooter!
