Greetings from Tennessee. Have loved reading this website....got interested and re-educated on Black Powder....bought the Uberti Walker and have enjoy loading, firing, and yes-even cleaning the sucker. Thanks to everyone that posted on the Walker for convincing me to try it. Am so glad I did.
Question to the group........Where are the best sites to go to find a holster, belt, etc for the Walker. Personally I like the setup Duvall used on Lonesome Dove but don't know where to find it. Help!.........By the way, I'm firing the 1851 Navy this weekend. Wife thinks I'm crazy......may be, but enjoying it more than I did when I got out of the Marines in 72. Thanks again guys and senior members for a great forum!

Hmm. Walker holster. Well, you have two main choices: custom made and mail order. I think Dixie Gun Works sells a holster big enough for the Walker (holster alone).

But, if I were you, I'd have one made. And have a belt made for it as well. The heavy weight of the Walker will eat any regular holster and belt alive in short order. You really need a thick leather made from horsehide to withstand that kind of load, and I know of nobody who makes mail order holsters like that.

WELCOME to thr.

i do believe you can get some help for sure your welcome here. I believe as soon as gentleman of the charcoal sees this he may be able to help. Not too sure who made his. But its very very nice. For sure if you want store bought dixie gun works can help out too.

Cabelas has a holster that will fit it. I don't know about the quality of it, though. It is also sort of a modern holster. It has snaps and such, but it will work if you aren't too worried about authenticity.
