New York hunters

How many of you want to get together for the BBQ?

I would like to have it at Hawkins Pond Park in Windsor in October.

I was thinking,
Saturday October 17th
Saturday October 23rd
Or
Sunday October 24th.
If you want to do any drinking please do it responsible or have a designated driver.
Also a good time for a card game,
Nothing serious just
Nichol, dime, quarter.
No wild cards.

I will need to get a total number of people so I know now much food to buy.
Whenever sounds good for the bbq, will list what each can bring when the dates closer.

since you will be here the second have of October the season is open for many fish. The one boat can hold 4-5 people but we only have a car for 4 people. I now another boat in Connecticut t hats nice for 6-8 people and is about $100-$125 a person then. Maybe we could barrow a van. Both boats are under 3 hours from my house.

I bought two airline tickets for the October visit. We fly in on Friday October 16th. We arrive in Syracuse at 9:30am. We leave New York on October 31st.
Let's plan on a BBQ on Oct 23rd or 24th maybe 1pm or so at the Hawkins Pond Park pavilion.

Went to friends on Sunday took my Ar, 223 bolt action, the Lee press I bought at a yard sale, an rcbs 505 scale, and 223 dies, basically a whole reloading set.

He asked how much, I said try it out first if you like it we'll talk. Of course I did have to look for a new bullet puller which I found but no 22 cal collet. Anyway my enabler wife said she saw loading stuff on Craigslist well it came home with me today as we'll here's a couple pics. You don't see much reloading stuff at garage/ estate sales. Good score there.

I sent Jim a press like that, he uses it for the Lee universal deprime die.

When I cash in my chips she will probably do the same thing or send the stuff to the dump.

I just bought a airline ticket for deer season. I will arrive in Syracuse on December 17th a little after 6pm.
I'll spend the night at Jim's and if the weather is good we will head up to old Forge on Thursday, spend the night up there at the Blue Spruce motel. Spend Friday up there and head back late Friday afternoon and then get out deer hunting on Saturday.

I,ll be bringing my trail cams back in October and get them set out.

Looks good Troy.

I ordered 3 more lbs tac, loaded up 6 303 Brit 150 Sierra spritzers, ran out of bullets. Resized 37 PC 303 brass, cleaned up Lyman 3006, and rcbs 303 dies. If I'm reading the year right those 303 dies are 1969, came in cardboard box.

The first couple of deer will be processed into venison sticks, summer sausages, jerky, salami,
And other good eats.

We have doe tags for 7m and 7r.
Great deer hunting area.

Last years we could of cleaned up on the deer but kept trying to get Mason set up on one.
While back there last year during deer season I bought another H&R Handi-Rifle in 223. With a cheap scope. I left it at my kids place. I will bring back a good scope, make up some ladder rounds and get it sighted in for this year's deer season.
