I agree, Dogtown. Imagine how much bandwidth we'd take up if we all started quoting already-existing state statutes that duplicate federal ones. It's ridiculous.
Starting with the second gen glocks a plate made of 17-4 stainless steel has been required by ATF regulations to be molded into the frame. The plate contains sufficient steel to be detected by a walk through metal detector set on the standard airport detection settings. It is the plate upon which the serial number is engraved.
