I posted this over with my original “Would you trade a Sub 2000 for a Yugo AK” thread, but wanted to show of my new gun in its own thread. I decided to trade the Kel-tec for the AK, and I’m very happy with my new gun. My friend bought this rifle back in early 2006. We took it to the range and test-fired it after he first bought it with 3 or 4 magazines. It functioned 100% with those rounds. He told me today, that it’s been sitting in his safe, ever since that time, so it is in essentially “like new (used) condition. It came with the accessories pictured. I’m not sure what country of origin of the mag pouch, so if any of you know I’d appreciate the info. Also, the sling, I’m not sure if it came with the rifle or not, or even if it a military surplus sling? The two magazines are pretty rough, but I’ll pick up a few at a future gun show.
I had one of the Yugo Underfolders before, but this one seems to be in a little nicer condition finish wise, than the one I originially owned (although, the other was perfectly fine also). The parts all seem to be the same color on this one, whereas on the other, some of the parts had a grayish color, and the internals look slightly better. Also the underfolder stock is tighter on this one, and it came with accessories, where my original did not. I also had a SAR 1 that I got rid of, and I think the Yugo is nicer. Maybe I'll hold on to this one.
