NFA goes under - what would you buy/want?

First thing I'd do is build about a dozen M2 Carbine conversion kits.:D

Then I'd look for a nice Thompson.

Others guns would follow.

To be honest, unless someone came out with a .22lr, I sincerely doubt I'd get one. I don't see anything wrong with them, or with any law-abiders out "there" having them, but military rifles in general have just never been my thing. But again, if someone made a .22 lr in a Thompson SMG-looking rifle (and about 1/2 or less the weight of a .45 version), I could probably find room for one.

Another vote for the Thompson Gun. ... and a 22LR conversion would be a very good thing ...

I'm not up on my legislation. Does the NFA cover short barreled rifles and shotguns? Because I'd take that over full auto stuff.

I would also like to have a super short shotgun to grimjaw. Just so you guys know though, is you can get a Gatling gun 22lr kit, that is technically single shot. :D

Fun stuff -

I'll second (okay, third, fourth, or fifth) a Thompson, probably the 1928 model. Not at all practical, but it's cool, and in a perfect world, that's enough.

A BAR, perhaps a M1918A2 version or a Colt Monitor R80.

Select-fire M-4.

Select-fire M-14.

Select-fire 10/22 (although someone mentioned a .22LR minigun... :D).

And suppressors for everything on my guns list that could take them.

I would buy a nice 11.5" AR-15, 3rd burst optional.

After that, Ifi I ever had the $$$, a UMP45, with the most compact barrel as well.

I already have a mid-range AR, as well as a pretty long range bolt gun. But I am sorely lacking in an short range/CQC weapons other than pistols. Damn Michigan.

Well a full auto 22lr would be fun but only if it had a hopper I could just dump a 500 round box of ammo in and it would automaticaly get turned in the right direction and then fed to the gun.I hate loading magazines.

A short barreled shotgun would be cool but its only real purpose as far as I know is against other people and if I ever get into a situation that I have to shoot someone then I would rather have a longer barrel to group my shot better.I would rather all the pellets hit in a tight group and drove deep then get all spread out.

A silencer would be good but several would be great!3 or 4 for my 22's and maybe one for one of my centerfires.I wonder how a 270 with heavy slow bullets would do.

The Heller decision is not going to result in the demise of the NFA. But, in keeping with the spirit of the discussion, here (no particular order) is my wish list:

H&K MP5
M16
M4 carbine
Thompson submachine gun (just for fun, while doing my Edward G. Robinson impression;))

The list is too long for this forum.
Spot on!!

But to start out, I'd say Ma Deuce, a 1917 water-cooled, a 1919 air-cooled, a BAR, and a Thompson.

A select fire conversion kit for my 10/22, because I wouldn't be able to afford the ammo for anything else.

If I had the money, either an M60 or a SAW.

Well most of the stuff I would be interested in is really old and rare at this point, so I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway. If I could though, the list would start with a Suomi, a PPSh 41, and a Marlin UD M'42.
Maybe a Beretta 93R?

I'd probably go with an Uzi, seeing as parts are pretty plentiful these days.
And a suppressor to go with it.

A select-fire 10/22 would be nice too for the cost of ammo.

That or a select fire Calico
