Call me a fancy boy but in general I almost always go with stainless and black if given the chioce. In fact, I own a grand total of one blued firearm out of well...a lot....and it's a 40 year old Italian .25 auto and for sale.
I am looking at a Sig 226 9mm factory nickel (fairly rare and has a few hi-cap nickel mags too) to fill a void left by a Taurus 99 stainless that I sold. It will not likely see much holster time and will mainly be a once a month range gun.
Any experience with Nickel...is it easy to mar?...harder to clean?...compared to stainless....any other thoughts on the Sig 226 in general.
