Im not sure what gun I will be getting. Looking at the Springfield XD or S&W M&P.

Im good on time as I got in my trouble in 1997 and completed all probation and had all fines payed by 1998.

Well I just submited my application for my CCW. Now I just have to wait 90 days and see what happens. It was really busy. They where really nice. She even gave me an extra copy of my fingerprinter so I can request my records from the fbi. I will be heading to Washington next week to apply there as well.

More Good news! I decided I wanted to try and purchase a gun. The wife would not let me drop $500 on a new gun. I have always wanted an AR. So I went to a local gun shop and explained my situation. He had me fill out the form and called it in. I got a proceed! So I am the new owner of a Spikes lower. Feels good I don’t have to worry any longer.

I don't know how it works in Idaho, but here in Oregon if you had a felony and want to get a CCW you have to include the court documents that you had your firearm rights restored with your application.

I am planning on getting delayed for my next handgun purchase because I got delayed for my first handgun purchase in the state of Oregon.

Ive purchased several handguns in California, never a problem. But in Oregon they see I have an old misdemeanor charge in California and want to investigate it further. :banghead:

Sealed or expunged record's are irrelevant, report them. Otherwise you will have forfeited your opportunity to EVER possess a firearm the rest of your life!

RE AR parts. joeboboutfitters.com has a good selection and orders over 90 bucks ship free. They have a lot of spikes stuff, although like most places, most of spikes stuff is on back order. Spikes seems to have trouble getting their suppliers to get them the goods to send out.

Well got my FBI records back. Not bad only took 3 weeks. Came back no arrest record found. Looks like I have my past taken care of. Now if Idaho would hurry up with my ccw permit.
