I have a Taurus PT92 that I would like to add night sights to. I looked around Trijicon's website and they do not offer night sights for the PT92, but they have a shop that can install them. I called the shop and they wanted 300 dollars to install night sights on a 450 dollar gun!

What other options are there for tritium night sights on the PT92? If I can't get a set I would at least want the front sight to be tritium. I am already using the glow in the dark sight paint but I don't like the fact that I have to "charge" them.

Keep you sights on

The kind of money you are talking about is too much, I could buy me a gun with that money,
My solution has always been, simple does it, keep the original sights get yourself a vial of glow-on check the tutorials an do it, its probably what you are looking for, if its not, the stuff is cheap and you can still use it for your fishing lures.
Anyways check it out:

And by the way you don't really have to "charge it" any light will do anyways, i just put my gun on a table next to my bed and anytime I wake up to the bathroom I can see it clearly, also my remote, also the light switch, also my flashlight, yes it is that good.
If you have a real emergency is 100 to 1 going to be a fire or a tornado and believe me, you'll be glad you found your cell because you put some glow-on on it,

In any case, a few seconds 4-5 under your tactical light will make it brighter than any tritium which is faint and tiny dots. And really you'll probably need that tactical light anyway if you can't see what to shoot, because those are two different things, to be able to use you night sights and to be able to see what you are shooting at, which altogether is called target acquisition.
