Night Sights in GP-100

I'm thinking I want some night sights in my fixed sight, GP-100. Been looking around and I have only seen adjustable sight sets for GP-100s. Does anyone make something for the 3inch fixed sight model? Its my bump in the night revolver, and may soon be making it to some IDPA use. On a side note - how well do Safariland comp2 speedloaders work with the 3inch GP?

I used an XS Big dot on the front of my 3" GP-100. Loved it.

Was it a drop in part or did you need to take it to a smith?

If you can punch a pin and buy some jeweler's files, you can install your own front sight on the 3"

When fitting non-dovetailed sights, I color the base perimeter of the sight with red magic marker and see where it gets scraped when I try to press it on. Only remove a very little metal at a time. Stroke, check fit, stroke, check fit until it snugs in with the hole aligned. You can always remove more metal, but you can't put it back on.

It's really that simple on a Ruger. All it requires is patience.
