nipples from Track of the Wolf

I'm waiting for my nipples for my ROA from TOW and I'll let you all know. I've become somewhat of a nipple aficionado. I have
1) Stock Ruger
2) Uncle Mikes stainless
3) Treso
4) Blomquist
5) TOW (yet to be delivered)

So far, Blomquist and Treso are the best.
I make ignition difficult as I use deepened cylinders or Classicballstx cylinders, triple 7, RWS 1075+ caps and Hollow Point BigLube 210 bullets. (Mold modified by Hollow Point Mold Service)

I have a Ransom Rest and a CED2 Chronograph so with a great deal of time and patience I can get quite a lot of information.

Here is the range report for the TotW nipples.
I still can't shoot a pistol.
After 50 rounds I was pleased with the nipples. They take a CCI#11 cap without pinching and they don't fall off.
The caps do not splinter into small parts so they don't fall into the action and using the lift and flip while cocking clears 90% of the caps. My Uberti 62 Colt Police is not 100% reliable but I would not call it fussy anymore either.
The shooting session was called short because the barrel lug that holds the loading lever fell off into the tall grass.
Parts and shipping from Taylor's will be about $11.

I don't remember the thread, gun is Uberti Police & 51 Navy. Sent back 6 of the stainless, got Tresco instead. I was billed for 6 but only received 5. Guess I won't be doing any more business with TOW. Hope others have better luck. BTW the Tresco nipples ( all five of them ) fit just fine.

Just got off the phone with TOW. They are sending the 6th nipple no charge. Sure can't complain about their customer service.

I'm still waiting for my order from TOW. They told me to wait till Friday and if I hadn't received them by then they'd resend.

Ya know...USPS, TOW....it's always something.

They were very fast with my first two orders and my third is on the way. I can only hope that Taylor's will be as fast with the new barrel lug.

I just got my latest order from TotW. They are just as fast as the snail mail can be.
