Its not your fault Kid. Hardship and struggle build character. Honesty and love for your fellow man builds integrity. I feel most young people have had it made. Theyve had a silver spoon stuck in there mouth from their father and mothers broken backs and wore out hands.

Mr.blackpowderwarrior...i am one of those young people and am sure ashamed and disappointed in my generation. Im pretty sure i was born in the wrong era....maybe a century or two too late.

No need to be ashamed of the behavior of others your age... there were plenty of dopes in my generation too. It wasn’t particularly popular being me back but in those days, didn’t smoke dope or do drugs, wore my hair high and tight even after I didn’t need to. Fortunately the people who mattered to me thought that was just fine.

In the seventies there were even more of the idiots running around. The me generation, born of the greatest generation. Lived to get high, live promiscuous lifestyles and then when the chickens come home to roost cry because someone isn’t there to bail them out...

A good number of the young folks I meet through my profession are hard working honest people who want to be free to live in a safe and clean society and they darn sure aren’t running around acting the fool over made up “outrage du jour”...

I just bought 3 sets.

I got my nipples today, and thought " man that was fast!!!"
Then I looked through some of the other stuff that was in there, paper work etc.
And man did I feel silly. These come from the black powder store in the town where I work. One town over...

At any rate, they work GREAT. And as far as shipping goes, I couldn't ask for it to be faster.

Just adding another data point. These are too short on my Pietta 1858 (2019 manufacture), but work just fine on my Pietta 1851 (2020 manufacture).

Honestly, I think my factory 1851 nipples are too long — I don’t think the hammer drops all the way before it hits them. I can give it a little push into position and feel the cylinder move forward ever so slightly. These newer nipples provide just enough clearance that the hammer doesn’t hit the nipple, but is close enough that it cleanly hits the top of the seated cap.

Edit: CCI #11 caps appeared to hold up better than the Remington #11 caps, but both fit readily and did not fall off.
