I looking into getting a National Match AR15 so whitch one will give me the most bang for the buck if you will. I had a Rock River a few years back but it was just an upper on a old lower I had. This time i'm looking at getting the complete rifle. So Bushmaster, RR, or something else.

Or, as a lot of threads on here can attest to, build a lower, add a Geisselle or Extreme trigger and order a White Oak Armament upper. If you can make it to Perry in July, the RRA that's always on sale there is definitely a lot of bang for the buck, but the WOA is the Cadillac of NM shooting at a reasonable price. I do have one of each - the RRA won't hold you back but the WOA is preferred.

CANUCK-IL thanks for the link now you got me leaning towards a White Oak upper now there prices are very good.

I have a White Oak Upper with a Gieslle (spelling?) trigger and it is one of the finest set ups out there. You will have to wait for John to build you one (unless you find a used one $800 +) trigger $150-$275 Then what ever parts you build your lower from another couple hundred brings you to $1200-$1300. Still lots of "bang for your buck" But also known plenty of people who have taken a RRA NM all the way to the top..your call. Can't lose either way

The WOA upper has enough advantages over the RRA upper that the extra money is more than worth it. My standard recommendation for new shooters is to get the RRA NM complete lower (so you get a usable 2 stage trigger) and a WOA upper. You can do that for roughly $1100. If you get the Geisselle trigger, you can add anywhere from $75 to $175 to that price depending on the model.
