Non-blowback .380 autos?

I was net surfing and ran into this on Wikipedia:

"Interestingly enough, there are also breechblock actions for 32 ACP and .380 ACP now available; they tend to be smaller than blowback actions in the same calibers."

I've been saving my nickels and dimes for a Sig P232 in .380 auto, which is a blowback design. As far as I knew (and I don't know much) about semi-auto design, the blowback guns are the most compact. What "breechblock" guns are they talking about?

Keltec P3AT and P-32 are locked breech designs also.

Star model S is a locked-breech 380, as is Colt Mustang.

Locked-breech models tend to be more comfortable for women to shoot, and MUCH easier to jack the action.

Some Llama 380's as well I belive Iver Johnson Pony was also. Of course Colt Mustang.

The very fine Remington M51 was delayed blowback. The CZ-24 was rotating barrel locked breech.

Nope!!
The G25 and G28 are blowbacks!!!
That's why they don't garner enough points to be imported!!

That is correct - Didn't believe it at first. From Glocks website:

"The GLOCK 28 is the same size and format as the GLOCK models 26, 27 and 33. The big difference with both pistols and the other GLOCKs is that both pistols are blowback operated."

Decades ago, a gun writer keyed in on the locked breach aspect of the Llama .380 and decided that it was perfectly alright to load the rounds up to 1200 fps or so. If he blew anything up, he did not mention it.

I have the little Llama .380 that is a downsized 1911, but its not locked breech. It a pretty old gun, and they must have switched to blowback shortlye before this was produced. Its still a great little gun, but I wish it were locked breech.

the .22s are blow-back too. I do remember a swinglin link in the 1960s vintage 380s and recall that a friend read that magazine article and was whomping up overloads using the jurras 90 grain bullet of the time. He didn't blow his gun up either though luck might have had something to do with that.

Keltec 3AT is the only double action locked breech .380 I can think of at the moment.
My Colt Gov't .380 is a soft accurate shooter, but I am not comfortable carrying a cocked and locked pistol in my pocket. And if I am going to wear a holster, I can have something in it more powerful than a .380.
Nothing wrong with a P232, it will just have more felt recoil than a locked breech pistol of same or even somewhat larger caliber. Kahr K9 is very soft, for exampe.

+1. The Makarov in .380 (blowback design) has more felt recoil to me than my Kahr K9 (locked breech).

Thank you all for the info. There are obviously less expensive options than the Sig P232, but I know that if I get a Keltec or Mak I'll just end up buying a 232 later anyway, so I may as well save a few hundred bucks and get the 232 as soon as I can save up.

Colt Mustang Single Action 1911 style action compact
Colt Mustang +II Single Action 1911 style action (Govt .380 frame with Mustang Slide/Barrel)
Colt Pony (Basically a Double Action Mustang)
Kel-Tec P3AT (DAO Locked breech similar to Glock/Sig/Ruger lockup)
CZ24 (rotating barrel, Single Action IIRC)
