what i meen is some thing that will rapidly induce extreem pain. I do not know if such a thing even exists; but if somebudy dose know of such a substens then please include a link to the site winch you got the info
(if you got it from wikopeeda don't waste your time here!) This is because right now my blow gun is incapable as a self-defense weapon. Without some form of poison it is just a thing to shoot at a dart board to let off steam.

One might hope so.... But somehow I doubt it.

Nothing is going to make your blowgun a defense weapon. Nothing.

Injecting materials into a person's system (which is what you're contemplating) does little more than open a can of worms on you, WRT liability.

Shock and impairment of mobility make SD weapons. Not bee stings.

There is no such thing as a poison that is injected into the bloodstream of an unwilling target that is not capable of killing that person. There's a specific reason no law enforcement entity uses injection darts of any sort on suspects. Drugs, medical conditions, allergies, stress and other factors can make it have no effect, or lethal effect. The use of poisons of any sort in many state laws makes it automatically a crime as well, with automatically premeditation added as an aggravating factor.

Now granted, I would contest that you cannot get an decent non-lethal effect with a blowgun. When I was in college I had a handful of "stun darts" which were round-headed machine bolts with a cone added. My then-girlfriend shot someone in the temple with one, and it rang that person's bell badly enough they collapsed to the ground.

But important to note is this person was not a direct aggressor. Using any sort of blowgun when you are the direct target seems a very poor tactic. You have to breath properly and steady your aim which is not going to work. You're better off trying to jab them in the face with the pipe.
